Hi Everyone! It’s time for a new release from Pinkfresh Studio – it’s more of everything you know and love about Pinkfresh including some gorgeous new washi tape, hot foil plates, layering stencils and stamps. I’m excited to show you two cards I’ve created today – and stay tuned for details on a giveway!

My first card features the gorgeous Thankful for Friends hot foil plate. This pairs with a gorgeous coordinating layering stencil in this release, and pairs with an earlier released stamp and die set. I hot foiled it onto white cardstock with my Spellbinders Glimmer using Matte Gold Glimmer hot foil. I then used the stencil to add details using small ink daubers. For the main blooms, I used Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, and Regal Kiss. For the stems I used Peach Fuzz and Warm Buff. I didn’t have the coordinating die so fussy cut with my scissors.

For my background, I used Essentials: Nested Chevron die, cut from the same white cardstock. I then pieced it onto a white panel using thing strips of foam tape. I went approximately halfway up the background, and mounted the floral over the top. The sentiment is from the Hydrangea and Rose stamp set from the new release, heat embossed in white on black cardstock and die cut using an older die plate and popped up on top. To finish, I used these fabulous new Metallic Pearls (in gold) – yey love new embellishments!

My next card features the beautiful new Hydrangea and Rose Washi tape. In my usual way, I adhered the entire piece washi onto a panel of white cardstock, then die cut it out with the coordinating die. I die cut the Essentials: Pretty Frames out from white cardstock three times and adhered them together, then mounted them onto a black card panel.

I arranged all the pieces of washi around the panel with foam squares. For my sentiment I used the Take Care die, cut from gold holo carstock and white cardstock, adhered together then popped up on foam squares. I decided I also wanted to add some butterflies, so used the new Small Butterflies hot foil plate, and foiled with Aura Glimmer hotfoil and die cut with the coordinating die.

I mounted the butterflies onto the washi images with foam tape and then added a few Metallic Pearls embellishments in silver to finish, before mounting onto a white notecard.

  63. These cards are amazing! The first one the contrast and pop out of the white background with the beautifully coloured flower. I don’t think I have seen a better colour combo then this one! Will be using that one in the future! Super elegant and pretty!
