Hello friends!

It’s time for another AMAZING release from Pinkfresh Studio! Seriously when these goodies hit my mailbox I always freak out seeing what gorgeous the PFS team has designed for us to play with and it never ever disappoints! Today’s post is part of a blog hop celebrating the new release which is just live in the store.

My first card features the Reason to Smile Wreath stamp, stencil and coordinating die set. This set creates a beautiful wreath, and it has some very fun block sentiments included in the stencil set itself which fit perfectly with the centre of the wreath (as do all the sentiment stamps).

To create my card, I first stenciled the wreath. I used Regal Kiss, Soft Lilac and Lavender for the florals, and Slumber and Sky Blue on the leaves. I then stamped the wreath over the top. using embossing ink. I then heat embossed with Metallic Platinum embossing powder (from WOW!)

My sentiment is from the same set, stamped in Detail Black ink. I also stencilled ‘THANKS’ over the top faintly, using Lavender again, before die cutting it out. I actually die cut the wreath two further times from thick white cardstock to add sturdyness.

My background was created by the Layered Sunburst stencil set from a prior. release, using the same Lavender, Soft Lilac and Regal Kiss inks to coordinate. I mounted the wreath in the centre and embellished with a few PFS Jewels.

My second card features that same color combo, but using different products to get a completely different look. This time I’m featuring the Rare & Beautiful stamp and die set. This is a layer stamp set that allows you to stamp the leaves and the flowers separately. I inked up the main leaf stem stamp with Sky Blue, and then added edges with Slumber using an ink dauber to get little dimension. I then did the same with the floral layer, using. the Soft Lilac and Regal Kiss inks.

I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of cardstock in Detail Black, then die cut each out. I also die cut some light blue fun foam and layered them all together.

For my background this time, I used the Simple Plaid layering stencils from an earlier. release, along with Soft Lilac and Lavender. I mounted the die cuts on top with foam tape and scattered a few more jewels to finish!
