Hi Everyone!

Today WOW! Embossing and Picket Fence Studios are having a collab blog hop! There are prizes to be won so be sure to stay tuned for all the details!

For my cards today, I’m using the absolutely awesome Gorgeous You background stamp by Picket Fence Studios. It is a beautiful pattern that can be used in so many different ways and is just begging to be heat embossed!

On this first card, I stamped Gorgeous You off the edge of a panel of white cardstock in WOW! Embossing ink and then heat embossed in WOW! Florida Sunset. This is an opaque pink powder with metallic gold throughout – it melts beautifully as you can see – I just love how it shimmers pink then gold!

For my sentiment, I used a sentiment from the WOW! Beautiful stamp set and heat embossed it in Metallic Rich Pale Gold on white cardstock, mounted onto gold cardstock with foam tape and popped it into the centre of the main panel.

For my second card I embossed the image directly into the centre of a white panel of cardstock using WOW! Long Island Teal. This is another opaque powder, this time a lovely teal blue color, with metallic gold throughout. It makes a beautiful shimmery image.

For my sentiment, I used the Picket Fence Studios Fabulously Perfect and heat embossed it in WOW! Opaque Bright White onto a strip of vellum and then wrapped it around the card panel and adhered it onto the back with tape runner. Using vellum lets the gorgeous image show through. I then adhered the panel onto a white card base.

For my final card, I decided to combine both of the embossing powders. I stamped Gorgeous You towards the bottom of a white cardstock panel in embossing ink, and then sprinkled Florida Sunset into the centre and tapped it off. I then added Long Island Teal all around the edges and taped it off, before going back in with the Florida Sunset again to fill in any gaps, before heat embossing it.

I heat embossed the sentiment (from WOW! Beautiful) in Metallic Rich Pale Gold to match the gold flecks in the embossing powder, onto a strip of grey cardstock and mounted it into the centre of the main image with foam tape.
