Hi Everyone!

I’m super excited to be joining you today as part of the Heffy Doodle Friends Blog Hop showcasing some of the wonderful new release from Heffy Doodle. I have linked all of the stops on the hop at the end of this post, as well as details on the prize up for grabs and how you can win!

I created three cards for today’s hop, and there’s a video too which you can view here and over on my YouTube channel.

My first card uses Rose Gold Glitter paste over black cardstock using the Heffy Doodle Pinstripe stencil. I love the versatility of stencils like this, and you can see how classy it looks with this paste.

I added hearts die cut from black cardstock using the Whole Lotta Hearts dies, popped up on foam tape directly over the top of the glitter paste background, and my sentiment is from the Hello Everyone stamp set, stamped in black ink and die cut with the co-ordinating dies. I added some Nuvo Drops in White to tie in the die cut border to keep it simple.

My second card uses the Steady Heart stencil. You can totally shift this stencil and double up on the hearts if you want to. Instead, I doubled up on the medium, and ink blended the hearts with Catherine Pooler ink, before then overlaying them with Sugar Glitter Paste to make them sparkle.

The sentiment is from the Hello Everyone set again, and I added a little interest by ombre stamping it with two different colors to tie into the background. I LOVE how the dies cut around the dot on the i so you don’t lose it!!! The sentiment is white heat embossed in grey and trimmed out – it’s from the Everyday Sentiment Duos set from an earlier release and is one of my staples in my stash – you can trim out the sub-sentiments like I did here, or stamp the whole thing – super versatile!

For my third and final card, I just had to use the Futuristic Skyline stencil – this is a layering stencil, and is SO EASY to line up. I went old-skool and used the outline layer with a white gel pen on Navy cardstock. You could totally use this on its own, but I wanted to add glitter paste accents, so I lined up the stencil windows and added gold glitter paste because gold and navy are a perfect pairing!

My sentiment is again from the Hello Everyone set stamped in dark blue ink, and the teeny moon was die cut from some left over galaxy watercolor background I had (check out the sneak of the card I used THAT for in the video) using the Sun, Moon and Stars dies. Doesn’t this look like a city at night?

I’m absolutely loving this new release from Heffy Doodle, I’ll have a couple more cards on my blog in the near future – for now, be sure to hop along to be in with a chance to win!
