It’s time for a blog hop showcasing Spellbinders’ July kit clubs, and this hop is filled with inspiration on using your kit clubs this month!
My card features the Large Die of the Month and the sentiment is from July’s Clear Stamp of the month.
I had so much fun with this one choosing color combos with my cardstock scraps. I opted for this modern combo of pale gray, light turquoise and light sage green with gold mirror. I die cut lots of the florals and leaves included in the die set – more than I thought I’d need -and them layered them to create blooms with different looks. I also cut sage and gold mirror leaves and set all my pieces to one side.
I die cut the outer frame and first scalloped frame from gold mirror cardstock, then popped them up on a slimline card base using thin strips of foam tape. I die cut a smaller scalloped frame from the light turquoise twice, adhered them together and adhered them with glue to the centre of the card panel.
I then arranged all of my florals with foam squares and tucked them behind this fun heat embossed sentiment from July Clear stamp of the month!
