Hi Everyone!

I’m joining a bunch of mega talented designers today on a hop with Spellbinders showcasing the January clubs. You should have arrived here from Melody’s blog. Stay tuned for details on how you can win by hopping along!

I’ve actually paired up the Small Die, Large Die and Glimmer of the month in one card to show you how they go so well together!

To create my card first die cut the border from the large die out of white card stock. I decided to ink blend it with red ink (Heart Beat by Altenew) as I didn’t quite have the right shade of red in my cardstock stash. I also edged the outside with a very dark gray ink, and then spritzed the entire panel with Sparkle Shimmer Spritz (Tsukineko) and set aside to dry

I die cut the heart from the Small Die of the Month three times, using the outer die border also, from Silver Sparkle cardstock. I also hot foiled one of the sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month in gorgeous Red glimmer foil and die cut it out with the coordinating sentiment banner in the glimmer set.

To finish, I pieced it all together, mounting the large frame with a border of thin foam tape around the edge, and small snippets of foam tape at the back of the hearts. I mounted the sentiment strip over the front of the middle heart, and finished with some. Autumn Red Nuvo Crystal Drops.
