Hello everyone and welcome to my stop on the Altenew Quiet Reflections Blog Hop, celebrating the December release from Altenew. There are prizes to be had and lots more inspiration so stay tuned for more details. If this is your first stop, you can pop over to the Altenew blog to start from the beginning.

This release is huge with so many wonderful new products I barely know where to start with my projects! Possibly the most exciting part of the release for me is new inks! I love the new colors and on my first card I’m showcasing the Martian Terrain Crisp Dye Ink set along with the Tranquility Rose stamp, die and coloring stencil set. These coloring stencils add ink n places on the coordinating stamp images to create amazing shading super quickly. I love them!

I stamped all of the images from the stamp set onto Neenah Solar White in Jet Black ink. I then colored them with the Martian Terrain ink set (using all but the darkest ink). I also supplemented it with inks from the Delectable Delights set from an earlier release for the. leaves. I die cut out all of the images, and mounted them onto a panel of Spicy Yoghurt cardstock, which I dry embossed with the brand new Ornamental Feature 3D embossing folder.

I scattered a few sequins to finish and heat embossed the sentiment from the set in white embossing powder on Jet Black cardstock to finish.

My next card features the You Are Beautiful stamp, die and stencil coloring set. This works. in the same way as the Rose set. I stamped the florals twice and four leaves, and colored them using the stencils. The inks I used were Wisteria and Hydrangea for the petals, and Just Green and Minty Mint for the leaves.

For the background I used a panel of Deep Iris cardstock dry embossed with the new Angled Mosaic 3D embossing folder. I added a white acrylic paint splatters and then adhered to a 110lb white card base. I die cut the flowers and leaves and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Jet Black cardstock and popped into the centre.

Altenew is also releasing a cute new Craft Room Organization Decal Set – Small. Perfect for embellishing drawers, doors, containers, carts, you name it! Whatever works in your craft space to help you organize! Here’s a few examples of how I used mine. The first is the closet door in my craft room! I have a lot stamps and I keep them in there 🙂

I love the little flowers. You can easily overlay them to create different looks.

I also adhered them on my Ikea drawers to add a much needed pop of color. They easily peel off again for repositioning!

My final project for today features the Postal Heroes stamp and die set. Once again I created a background using the Angled Mosaic embossing folder with Moonrock cardstock, which I splattered with Antique Silver spray.

I stamped each of the images from the stamp set in Permanent Black ink and colored them with alcohol markers. I then die cut them out and mounted onto the dry embossed background. I cut the mailbox and inserted a letter inside. I added a few sequins to finish.
