Hi Everyone!

Altenew has a wonderful release today and I’m excited to show you the card projects I’ve created using them. There’s something for everyone in the Cozy Creatures release! Full details on the *giveaway* and the next stop on the hop can be found at the end of this post. Here’s a look at some of the new release I”ll be using today (and this isn’t all of it!!)

My first project features the gorgeous Festive Clusters dies. I die cut them three times from white cardstock and adhered the layers together. On a fourth layer, I used the new small ink blending tools to selectively blend on colors Ultramarine, Coral Bliss, Iceberg, Razzleberry and Baby Pink.

These blending tools come in a set of four and are great for switching between color families quickly and getting into smaller spaces for selective ink blending! I also added a tiny spritz of Antique Gold shimmer spray and then adhered to the top of the stack of die layers.

For the background, I created a co-ordinating watercolor wash using the Altenew Spring Garden Watercolor Brush markers, dropping them into a wet background and letting them wick out. I also added some more Antique Gold Shimmer Spray, then adhered my die cuts over the top when dry.

To finish, I die cut the Fancy Peace word die from gold mirror cardstock and adhered over the top.

My next card features masking using the Simple Roses stamp set with coordinating mask Stencil. I love these mask stencils – no more fussy cutting!! This card is actually one layer!

To get the look, I stamped the main floral using Altenew Obsidian Pigment ink. I then used the open area on the mask stencil, and ink blended Heart Beat and Pink Pearl inks, with the darkest towards the centre, using the small ink blending tools. I masked off the ink blended floral with the positive of the mask stencil, then stamped the second and third florals either side and ink again – this time with Fresh Lemon and Pink Pearl. Finally, I added all of the masks, stamped and ink blended the leaves using Moss and Parrot.

To add some shimmer, before removing the masks, I added some splatters of Frosty Pink and Warm Sunshine Shimmer Sprays. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the largest petal to finish.

My final card for today features the Birch Forest stamp. This is a beautiful forest background with tons of fabulous sentiments. I decided to heat emboss mine in white embossing powder then watercolor over the top.

After heat embossing onto a panel of hot press watercolor cardstock, I painted clear water over the top, then using the Spring Garden watercolor brush markers in Dusk and Midnight Violet, letting them blend out and fade to create an ombre look.

The sentiment was stamped in Obsidian Pigment ink, matted onto a scrap of pink holo cardstock from my stash then popped up on foam tape. I also added a few sequins to coordinate! A super simple card, but super effective don’t you think!?

My friend received her last skincell pro recently and also
let me tell you, she is thrilled! She has
been seeking an all-natural means to remove her moles for quite time.

She attempted cream removers as well as doctor visits, however nothing worked.
