Hi Everyone!

I’m excited to be joining a bunch of talented crafty peeps today in a blog hop showcasing the August Club sets from Spellbinders. You should have hopped here from the fantastic Bibi Cameron’s blog! We are banding together today with the aim of giving you all some project inspiration when using them. There is also giveaway for you blog hoppers! Stay tuned to the end of this post for more details as well as the next stop on the hop!

I’m featuring the August 2020 Glimmer Club. I just love this, it’s perfect for all your crafty friends! I recently discovered foiling on patterned paper – it works really well on the paper I’ve experimented on and is so effective! The patterned paper I’m using for my card mimics a watercolor wash, but you could easily create your own wash with paint, like I did on this card on a previous post here.

I foiled the main craft objects plate from the Glimmer of the Month twice onto a panel of patterned paper using the GORGEOUS Speckled Prism foil using my Glimmer Hot Foil System from Spellbinders. This foil is so sparkly in real life. I then trimmed out the panel with a Nestabilities Essentials Rectangles and adhered it onto a white notecard.

For my sentiment,I foiled the ‘Crafty Birthday’ sentiment in Platinum Foil onto pink cardstock then fussy cut it out. I foiled the ‘Have A’ in Speckled Prism onto white cardstock and trimmed it out. I popped both up on foam tape in the centre, and to finish, added some coordinating Nuvo Drops in Raspberry Pink.

I also wanted to create a coordinating envelope, so grabbed one from my stash that matched the paper and foiled the ‘Handmade For You’ onto the flap in Speckled Prism. This works beautifully!
