What’s your favorite Christmas stamp? Today the Power Poppy team have been set the tough task of choosing our favorite (digital or clear) Christmas stamp from Power Poppy. I’ve chosen Glistening Paperwhites. I love the main focal image, and the sentiments are just awesome (like all Power Poppy sentiments!)

I decided to go for a little bit of Copic coloring on kraft today, and throw in some vintage ink blending.

To create my card, I heat embossed the focal image on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock in WOW! Metallic Silver. I then used V and RV colors to color in the flowers – I thought these colors would go well with a pretty floral but vintage feel. I then fussy cut out the image.

I edged the piece with Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain. I also grabbed another A2 panel of Neenah Desert Storm and ink blended Antique Linen in towards the centre, and went round the edges with Walnut Stain. I also flicked white ink, acrylic paint mixed with water, and water over the panel.

I used Versafine Clair in Pinecone which is a lovely rich warm brown color, and stamped some of the branches and the sentiment on the panel, positioning the images so that they would peep out from the floral spray. I then popped the flowers up on foam tape over the top. I also added some Sparkling Clear sequins and popped the entire panel onto a white notecard.

Be sure to head on over and check out what the other Bloomies and Gardeners have chosen as their favorite Power Poppy stamps!

  1. Gorgeous card Jenny, I always love kraft, it’s so soft coloured cardstock and you can use any colour on it.
Thank you so much for sharing and have a great day.
