Hi Everyone!

Technique Tuesday and WOW! Embossing are having a blog hop over the next two days and I’m so happy to be joining you for Day 1! Stay tuned because there are giveaways, and the full hop list is at the end of this post.

My card today features heat embossed glitter dragonfly dies against a glitter embossed and ink blended background.

PRIZES – No Blog hop is complete without a prize!

WOW! Embossing Powders has 6 powders of your choosing along with a WOW carry case to store your powders safely in.

Technique Tuesday is giving away 2 x $20 gift certificate to their store

The winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on ALL THE POSTS on both days. We encourage you to leave comments on both days – the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win these fabulous prizes.

To join this GIVEAWAY you must leave a comment on each blog post to have a chance at getting your hands on the prize. This hop is open internationally.

To create my card, I first die cut both layers of the Technique Tuesday Dragonfly Crafting Dies twice from thick white cardstock. I dunked the detailed layer in WOW! Embossing ink and heat embossed in Vintage Peacock embossing glitter, which is stunning and completely reminds me of blue dragonflies! I repeated this two more times and set them aside to cool down.

I repeated this again for the base layer dragonfly pieces, this time using WOW! Vintage Romance which is a soft shimmery pink. I then adhered the Peacock layer over the Romance layer and held them under an acrylic block while they dried.

For the background panel, I stamped the WOW! Tropical Stamp in embossing ink horizontally across a 4″ x 5.25″ panel of WOW! cardstock, then heat embossed it with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer. I ran over it with some pale blue ink and a blender brush just to bring out some of the detail. I then adhered the dragonflies over the top with foam tape.

To finish, I stamped this brilliant sentiment from Technique Tuesday’s Inspired Dragonfly stamp set, in pale grey ink. I mounted the entire panel on foam tape onto a white notecard, leaving a small border, and then added some Morning Dew clear Nuvo Drops to finish.

Now it’s time to hop on over to the wonderful Elise Constable’s stop on the hop! The full hop list is below in case you get lost!
