Hi everyone!
I’m joining in with the Muse Challenge this week, channeling my inner DT teamie at AAA Cards – Sarah (Sazzle Dazzle Crafts).   So excited she got to be guest Muse – and well deserved!
For my card, I used her Brusho colors (or as best as I could guess) to create a background on watercolor paper, which I then diecut with Simon Says Stamp stitched squares and SSS Sketch Heart dies.
I then diecut the heart again out of black glitter cardstock like the type Sarah used on her card. I inlaid this into the Brusho panel and added adhesive (liquid and runner) all over the back.  I adhered a square of vellum behind the panel for a shaker. Instead of using foam tape I wanted just a flat shaker so I added strips of Be Creative double sided tape and sprinkled some Lucy’s Little Things shaker mix into the middle and backed it onto a square Neenah Solar White 110 lb card base.
To finish, and capture the yellow pattern paper and sentiment Sarah used, I added the complementary ‘Wishing’ die from Simon Says Stamp die cut from yellow paper from my stash, and adhered over the window.  I then added a sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black popped up on foam tape, from Sending and Wishing by Simon
Congrats again to Sarah, you created a beautiful card, I had great fun 😀  I’m also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which this week is Square cards.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
