It’s the final day of the showacase for Collection 2 of the Quiet Christmas release from Power Poppy!! I hope you’ve been following along over on the Power Poppy blog! The final set (and in my opinion the most gorgeous of the entire release) is Joy to the Wold Bouquet! The stamp set is gorgeous, but who can resist a giant bouquet using the digi version? Not me!

Here’s a closer look at the stamp set itself. As mentioned I actually used the digital version which allows you to make adjustments to size.

Iprinted it out on Bristol Smooth watercolor cardstock – my printer is new and I printed it way too big – or so I thought. I started coloring it and thought it was actually perfect to create a wrap around card! I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the card, along with a waterbrush, scribbling a little color, pulling it out, letting it dry, then deepening the color a little.

I only colored half of the image (the bit that would be on the front, and a little that would be on the back. I then fussy cut out on the front the right hand side. of the. image, leaving a border, for a shaped card front, then scored the panel like a normal card base.

You can see I stand the card up, that the gorgeous image follows around the back. Doesn’t it look fun?! And that fussy cut front edge also adds a lot of interest to what is otherwise just a one panel card! And it stands up!

You can check out the other projects created by the team on the links below! Sad this beautiful release inspiration hop is at an end? Don’t worry, the Bloom Brigade will be back on the Power Poppy blog with lots of inspiration over the coming days and weeks to keep your creativity flowing!
