Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been part of a WOW! Collab hop, and today’s the day —- and it’s a GREAT ONE! WOW! Embossing is teaming up with the guys and gals at Heffy Doodle and Catherine Pooler Designs for a Winter Trio Blog Hop (with prizes! Stay Tuned!) You should have arrived here from Allison’s blog – the full list is at the end of this. post if you get lost!

I created three cards for today’s hop. The all feature heat embossing of course) as well as holiday supplies from Heffy Doodle and Catherine Pooler.

My first card features the darling ‘Wanna Build A Snowman’ stamp set from Heffy Doodle. I stamped all of the penguins, the tree and the snowman in Copic friendly black ink onto white cardstock and then colored them all in a greens and reds color scheme, using Copic markers. I also used my WOW! Embossing Pen to add some heat embossed glitter highlights with Catherine Pooler WOW! Cranberry Sparkle and Deck the Halls embossing glitters! (Check out the stripes on that penguin’s sweater!). I also added some Sparkling Snow embossing glitter on one of the penguin’s hat bands, then fussy cut them all out.

For my background, I used Heffy Doodle’s Mini Essentials dies to cut three crimped circles. I then backed them with metallic silver cardstock, die cut with the smaller circle using foam tape. I mounted each of the stamped images onto the circular borders with foam tape, as well as a sentiment from the set, heat embossed on black cardstock in Sparkling Snow, and die cut using the banner from the Mini Essentials dies.

For the background, I swiped Cranberry Fizz and Deck the Halls inks by Catherine Pooler roughly onto cardstock, then spritzed with shimmer spray then mounted my panel over the top. I finished with some CPD Mistletoe sequins and a some Arctic White Nuvo Drops as snowballs !

My second card features the Alpine Village stamp set by CPD. I stamped the cute little cabin in Cranberry Fizz ink and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I then used the First Snow stencil from Heffy Doodle to carefully and faintly add some hills, by swiping up some Hot Tub ink by CPD. I also stamped some of the Alpine Village trees in Deck the Halls ink and popped up the tree on foam tape. The sentiment was stamped in Cranberry Fizz.

In the close up above, you can just about see the hills, and I also stenciled some snow using WOW! embossing ink over the First Snow stencil, and heat embossed in Sparkling Snow embossing powder. A few CPD sequins finished this ‘almost’ one layer card.

My final card is super clean and simple. On a panel of white cardstock I drew a faint pencil line, and then stamped each of the trees from the Alpine Village stamp set in a different color of the rainbow in ink from CPD. (Left to right: Cranberry Fizz, Orange Twist, Lemoncello, Deck the Halls, Something Borrowed, Grape Crush and Be Mine). I added a final tree heat embossed in Sparkling Snow but it’s REALLY HARD TO SEE! Sorry! I stamped the sentiment in CP Midnight ink and scattered a few CP sequins to finish!
