Hi Everyone!

I’m sharing a card that I created after I did some simple stitching using the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch die that is getting hot in the card making world right now.  I just did some very basic stitching after diecutting the stitch die into a panel of 110lb Neenah Solar White.  The thread I used was Kreinik Ombre in Misty Rainbow (love Kreinik – it’s sparkly metallic and very high quality).

I only stitched a square and then trimmed down the panel to 4 x 4 inches. I die cut the Simon Says  Stamp Circle Leaves out of a panel of 80lb Neenah Solar White and adhered it with double sided tape so that the stiches peeped through the back.

For the sentiment I heat embossed a saying from the Hello You CZ Designs set in white embossing powder on a scrap of black card stock and popped it up on foam tape!

Hope you like it!

  1. This is beautiful! I sure wish they still sold that cross stitch die–perfect size. I did manage to get their square die. I love your card. I need to try out some of that floss you used. It’s gorgeous.
