Hi Everyone

I have a card today showcasing a different way to use the new Simon Says Stamp Modern Flowers Card Wrap to create a shaker card.

I die cut the wrap twice from Simon Rose Gold glitter card stock and then used a trimmer to cut out the wrap fully along the straight edge.  I backed one of them with acetate (I adhered with glue runner and then trimmed with scissors around the curve) and thin double strips of foam tape.  I then added Honeybee Stamps Dragonfruit sequins in Grapefruit and backed with patterned paper from the In Bloom pad by My Mind’s Eye.

I adhered another piece of paper from the pad over a Neenah Solar White cardbase with glue runner and flicked gold Heidi Swap Shimmer spray. I then adhered the shaker to the base of the card. With the second card wrap I fussy cut out some of the florals and adhered them with spray adhesive.

For the sentiment I stamped the Thanks from the Simon Says Stamp Thankful Heart set in Versamark ink and embossed with Ranger Superfine Gold embossing powder.  The smaller sentiment is from the same set and was heat embossed on a scrap of pale pink card in The Ton’s Rose Gold embossing powder and popped up on foam tape.  To finish, I added Nuvo Jewel Drops in Rosewater and chomped the corners at the top with a WRMK Corner Chomper.

I’m entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #87 ‘Something New’, as the Die is new!

Have a wonderful day all!
