Hi Everyone

Just a reminder, there is still time to play along at Time Out Challenges. This week we are trying to raise Breast Cancer Awareness in partnership with CAS-ual Fridays stamps who are kindly sponsoring the challenge this week.  Breast Cancer Awareness month is here, and this is a reminder to check yourself ladies! 5 mins, once a month.  Don’t know how? See here.  It could save your life.

This week’s theme is friendship, and there’s a $25 prize for the winner, as well as a randomly drawn prize for anyone who uses pink on their card.  We are joined this week by Guest Designer Yulia who has created some wonderful inspiration for you all to get you motivated.

For my card, I used the stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays called ‘Calm & Gentle‘.  While this is a great set to create a tree image, I wanted to show you how to stretch those stamps and use them a little differently.  For my card I used a scrap of pink watercolored look paper from my stash.  I then took the leaf cluster image from the stamp set and stamped it all over the upper portion of the paper in Versamark ink.  After each stamping, I added Ranger Superfine Gold embossing powder and heat embossed. I added more of a concentration of the stamps towards the top, overlapping some of the images to create a ‘confetti’ type look.

I wanted to keep the card simple, so I stamped a simple sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon from the same set in Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink.  I adhered the entire piece onto a Neenah Solar White card base.  There is an additional sentiment inside the card stamped in simple black.

That’s it – super simple, and I think you’ll agree, this stamp set can be super versatile – I love the confetti look !

Have fun, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
