Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that there is still time to play with our current Time Out challenge where we are CASEing the wonderful Kim.
For my card I used the Hello Sunshine stamps by Altenew and stamped random images in Versafine Onyx Black ink all over a panel of Neenah Solar White.  I then coloured in the images using my Zig Clean Colour brush markers, nothing fancy, just tried to match the colours in Kim’s original card.

I then die cut the panel using the largest die from the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles die set and adhered it to a Neenah 110lb card base using glue runner.
For the sentiment, I used the same die set but one of the smaller rectangles and die cut from Black card stock.  I then stamped the sentiment from the stamp set using Versamark and heat embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.

I adhered the sentiment using foam squares for dimension.  Then as a finishing touch I added Stickles in Sprinkled Sugar to all of the coloured blooms.  This colour Stickles is so cool – it is exactly like sugar when it dries!!

Here is Kim’s original card we were CASE’ing:

Please pop on over to the Time Out blog to see all of our inspiration from the Design Team (this week and last week) especially Deepti who is joining us as Guest Designer this week.   She has created a beautiful card and I strongly recommend you check out her awesome blog.

That’s it for this week, hope you are all getting geared up for the holidays!! (I’m counting down the days until I can take a break from work!)

  1. I love this CASE Jenny. The combo of the brightly coloured flowers and then the bold black really makes for a dramatic card. And that stickles pen gives a great sparkle and it really shows up so well in the photo…grea embossing too xx

  2. This is wonderful Jenny. I LOVE the rich color, and the sparkle on top! I'm jealous that you got the sparkle to show in your photo!!! Love that black panel with the white embossing. Really makes the whole thing pop! xx

  3. Super CASE, Jenny! Your flowers really reflect Kim's, I'd have love to make something like this but was just soooo behind on my Christmas cards that I had to choose another route. 🙂 The black sentiment panel is a great finishing touch. Loving the Stickles as well. xxx

  4. Great card Jenny – the background you created is so pretty – and captures the vibe of Kim's card brilliantly! The shimmer is gorgeous in the photos – I can imagine how pretty it must be in real life!
