Hi Everyone!

We have a new challenge at AAA Cards and it is a photo inspiration (we don’t do those very often)!  There is a $20 gift certificate to Happy Little Stampers from our kind sponsors for the winner of the challenge so be sure to hop on over and enter.

For my card this week I kept it super simple, and it was so quick and easy I made two!  I found some amazing rainbow patterned paper from a lonnnng ago Simon Says Stamp card kit that matched the colors of the photo.  I then die cut it with shape dies – for the first card I used Mama Elephant’s City Scape.

I used the Cuttle Bug Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the card base (Neenah Solar White 100lb cardstock) as I thought this would replicate the dots on the paper. I then adhered the die cut to the base with liquid adhesive and trimmed off the ends.  I adhered a sticker sentiment to finish!

For my second card I did the same thing, but used the AWESOME WRMK Next Level Wave embossing folder.  I die cut the paper using Papertrey Ink’s Sketched Stars and adhered them with liquid adhesive, trimming the edges where they overhung.

The sentiment is from Altenew’s Label Love stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed out.  I popped it up on foam squares to finish.

I do hope you’ll join us over at AAA.  Remember to keep your cards CLEAN and SIMPLE (CAS) – and be sure to check out what the awesome Design Team came up with for some inspiration 🙂

Have a fabulous weekend
