Hi everyone!
I have a super simple card today which I created for the Less is More Challenge – use a sticker!  I used to subscribe to a couple of scrapbooking card kits (although I do very little scrapbooking – always meant to start properly!!) and every month they included stickers and chipboard pieces. I rarely use them on cards, and I don’t know why not – they are so helpful in a tight spot when you need a card quick!

For my card today I used the Amy Tangerine American Crafts ‘Remarks’ sticker set.  It is full of orange and mint and purple foil stickers, really sweet.  I chose a purple foil feather, and drawing inspiration from the minty colors on the the other stickers, decided to use Distress inks in Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron to create a wash on some Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock.  I dried it and added the sticker.

See below for a better look at the shine of the foil – so pretty in real life.

It still needed something so I diecut the cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Frames die, and kept both the outer and inner pieces together, which I adhered with glue runner to a Neenah Solar White 110lb card base.  As a finishing touch I added a Tim Holtz ChitChat sticker (hope two stickers is allowed!!).

Other than drying time, this card took about 15 minutes to make.   Let’s all dig out our stickers!!!

Have a wonderful week!

Jenny
