Hi everyone,
Halloween is nearly upon us so the AAA Card Challenge Design Team is doing a CAS Halloween Challenge.   Halloween is one of those ‘holidays’ that is wayyyyyyy bigger in the US than in the UK I found, since I moved here 5 years ago.  I love the imagery but I have very few halloween stamps in my stash!!
The card I”m sharing today uses one of the images from the Inkadinkado Oddity Jars stamp set – I actually bought this for using on a male birthday card!
The brain in a jar was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar White 80lb card.   I colored the brain with pink and red copics and the bubbles in greens.    I then fussy cut and liberally applied glossy accents.
And typically, when I actually WANTED bubbles in my GA, I only got 1!!! (Still adds a cool effect though!)
While the jar was drying, I cut some more Solar White with Simon Says Stamp’s Stitched Rectangles Die, and the My Favorite Things Peek-A-Boo Circle.  I added some Halloween patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye behind the hole and popped the panel up on foam tape onto a 110lb Neenah Solar White Card base.
The jar was adhered using foam table into the centre of the hole, and I stamped my own sentiment in Versamark using cheapie alphabet wood stamps ($1 from Michael’s eons ago) and embossed with Hero Arts white embossing powder.
Hope you like it !! Super CAS 😉
Can’t wait to see what you all come up with, make sure you keep your card Clean and Simple (CAS) for this challenge and link up to the AAA Cards Challenge blog below.  Make sure you visit all of the Design Team’s wonderful creations too 😀

Have a fabulous Halloween!!

Jenny
