Hi all,
It’s a beautifully sunny day today and Bill and I got great news – a new nephew to welcome to the family.  Soren Grey – such an unusual and cool name.
In celebration I’ve made a baby card, which I’m also entering into the Blog Named Hero Papers Please Challenge.

I think this is the most patterned paper I’ve used on one card.  I tore pieces from an old Simon Says Stamp card kit and glued them at angles to white Simon Says Stamp card stock.  I used the largest Feather Finery die from Papertrey Ink to die cut the feather.  I then stamped the co-ordinating Feather stamp in Versamark.  I LOVE this stamp set, it is so beautiful. I embossed it with Ranger silver fine embossing powder.

The background was more of the same patterned paper set, and I cut a strip of DCWV glitter card stock to co-ordinate with the embossing powder.  The background was drips of Lindy’s Stamp Gang starburst spray in Down the Rabbit Hole, and I added the sentiment with some Tim Holtz ChitChat stickers.

I think it turned out super pretty – hope they like it 🙂

Jenny
